GROVE’S OPUS

GROVE’S OPUS
“When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.” – John Ruskin

“At Park Grove, we get to work with some of the most forward-thinking and iconic minds in architecture and design. The level of projects in Miami has increased dramatically over the past decade, but our collaborations with REM Koolhaas and OMA have poised us to set the new standard. Since this project is unprecedented in so many ways, it was important that we have elements like custom Italkraft kitchen cabinetry, marble details and top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures.”Carlos Rosso, President of Condominium Development of The Related Group

Eminent developers, The Related Group and Terra come together to co-develop Park Grove, Coconut Grove’s most incomparable and alluring residences that span over a 5.2 – acre property directly across from Biscayne Bay. Residences will range from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet and are geared toward the most discerning year-round residents.

A troubadour of d’artistes and design talent contributes to the thread of Park Grove’s creative community. A Jaume Plensa sculpture and artwork by Ruben Toledo and Michele Oka Doner transposes the ethereal vision and sphere of love that Related Founder, Jorge Pérez has with his lifelong interest in art. The interiors boast kitchens and baths by William Sofield, executed in precision with the collective marriage of Italkraft and gesticulation of space by Meyer Davis Studio, Inc.

A restaurant concept from Michael Schwartz, an amenities program curated by Colin Cowie, a two-acre sculpture park by Enea Landscape Architecture, and a smaller building with recreational amenities culminate at 2701 South Bayshore Drive. If the site is the prose of the property, the architecture of the three residential towers led by OMA/Rem Koolhaas is the poetry to the bayfront.

“Always a haven for artists, writers, and other creative souls, the Grove retains a character found nowhere else. More relaxed than Brickell, more family-oriented than Miami Beach, the charms of this dynamic community are undergoing a renaissance. Our project will offer a lifestyle that’s perfect for people who appreciate the tropical urban setting,” said Pérez, who has a reputation for enhancing entire neighborhoods with projects that incorporate art and public parks.

“Miami continues to blossom into one of the greatest global cities of our time,” said David Martin, President, and Co-Founder of Terra. “Our vision for Coconut Grove is to preserve its history and natural landscapes while introducing the caliber of design talent the rest of Miami has been experiencing for years.”

Desire for Park Grove is to create an intimate living experience that celebrates the culture of Coconut Grove and makes residents feel at one with its habitat.
